ROTARY DRILLING BIT SUBS

Sandvik supplies shock subs and sub adaptors. Sandvik shock subs are designed to lower drilling vibrations and prevent them from being transmitted into the rotary drill head and mast in mid-size to large drilling rigs. The shock sub help reduce or eliminate premature rotary head failure, mast fractures, poor bit life and yield smoother operating conditions. 
Sandvik Rotary sub adapters are used to connect the various components throughout the drill string. They provide a range of functions such as changing from one thread form to another (cross-over subs), or reducing wear to the threads of components (thread-saver subs).
Sandvik rotary subs and adaptors are available as a bit (bottom) subs, top (spindle) sub, cross-over subs and thread-saver subs.
